I am a board gamer, Dungeon Master, community theater volunteer, and software developer with jack of all trades tendencies. I got into tabletop gaming in college as a way to take a break from staring at a screen for hours, and my active imagination drew me to role-playing games, Dungeons & Dragons in particular. The unique way a good role-playing session can become an amazing afternoon of collaborative storytelling keeps me involved with at least one campaign, both as a fun pastime and a great way to socialize with friends.
Away from the gaming table I like hiking or enjoying a beautiful sunset when the weather is nice, and when it's not I've been learning to roller blade as a fun way to get some exercise. Farther from home I have been fortunate enough to travel a bit for work and for fun, I've loved being able to immerse myself in different cultures and explore new places.
My favorite programming language is Python, its combination of power, flexibility, and ease of use make it great for rapid problem solving. I'm also a fan of C#, and have enjoyed getting to do a bit of Android development as well. Running a Linux server at home has been a fun side project that's helped me host a variety of software and services for myself and my friends over the years.
