I am a board gamer, TTRPG Game Master, community theater volunteer, and software developer with jack of all trades tendencies. I got into tabletop gaming in college as a way to take a break from staring at a screen for hours, and my active imagination drew me to tabletop role-playing games, first Dungeons & Dragons and later Deadlands. A good role-playing session can become an amazing afternoon of collaborative storytelling, and I love getting to share that with friends.
Away from the gaming table I've been training at a parkour gym for some whole-body exercise, I also like rock climbing and roller blading. Farther from home I have been fortunate enough to travel a bit for work and for fun, I've loved being able to immerse myself in different cultures and explore new places.
My favorite programming language is Python; its combination of power, flexibility, and ease of use make it great for rapid problem solving. I've also made things with C++ and C# for work and side projects over the years, I think that learning Rust, Go, or Zig would be fun to expand my programming horizons. Running a Linux server at home has been a fun project that has helped me host a variety of software and services for myself and my friends over the years.
